From South Africa to the world – Ms. Nomzamo Mbatha

Nomzamo Mbatha, the South African-born actress, and human rights activist has gone way over the imaginable radar to attain her dreams. She continues to inspire without restraint as seen in her latest debut in the movie Coming to America 2. A legendary movie that was known by most late 80s and early 90s youths. The second edition of this comedy movie was a timely one for Nomzamo because she was just starting up in the big city abroad. The irony of her auditioning for Coming to America 2 and actually getting the role is so incomparable.

Nomzamo was born on July 13 1990 in Durban South Africa. Her acting journey began in 2012 and later became a lead player in a local drama series Isibaya where she played Thandeka. In 2015 she was chosen to represent Neutrogena, becoming the first South African in that role. The dreamer and driven personality that she is, she sees to make up her mind and just goes for whatever she has determined to attain. In 2018 Nomzamo got her Commerce Degree in accounting from the University of Cape Town.

An esteemed host as she has in recent times held the reins in various massive events locally and internationally such as the BET Awards and Miss South Africa 2020.
Beyond her acting career, Nomzamo is sold out in Human Rights activities and was appointed UNHCR ambassador in 2018 where she graciously executes her humanitarian duties.

She signed up with a talent management agency called Creative Artists Agency in 2020. Watching her story unfold is much to inspire any child of the African soil that “you should not allow proximity to limit you” quoted verbatim from Nomzamo herself.

It seems this is just the beginning for this great energy vessel, we are anticipating more groundbreaking moves as we continuously cheer her on for being a great African representative.
