The brand was founded by designer Kapasa Musonda Zambian born lady. Mangishi Doll was set in motion in 2012 but finally came to life in 2015. The brand owner, Kapasa is a well cultivated designer scholastically as she was awarded a scholarship to study Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California USA. She moved back home in 2011 after she had completed her course.
