Preparations for Mpumalanga Fashion Design Week are at High stake. The Mpumalanga Fashion Design Week which was founded by Samuel Marema is to be hosted on the 3rd of March, local and regional designers are expected to showcase their designs across the ramp. Award-winning designer Gerhardt Shebe (South Africa),Tapfumanei Munengi will be joined by Malawian designer Everson Designs who is based in South Africa and many other designs in showcasing their designs. While models such as Patience Mpofu (Zimbabwean), Shadel Noble (Zimbabwean) and Sesha Basinoko (Botswana) and some models from Swaziland and South Africa will be models of the evening.
On the third of February, the organizers of the event auditioned hundreds of models who had applied to participate in the event.
According to the founder of the Mpumalanga Fashion Design Week, Mr. Samuel Marema they were successful in being able to identify models who were to join regional and international models who had already been selected to participate at the runway.
This year the theme of the event is Spring and Summer collection and the ceremony will energy from 6 pm until 9 pm
at Embalenhle Mall in South Africa.
