SA Designer collaborates With Lesotho Fashion House To Showcase At Common Wealth Fashion Exchange

Conceived by fashion advocate Livia Firth founder of (Eco Age) is the Common Wealth Fashion Exchange with the assistance of The Common Wealth and British Council.


Is expected to draw thousands of fashion experts, designers, and stylists from 52 countries. They will be networking and showcasing the power and potential of artisan fashion skill.The event is to take place at Buckingham Palace in the presence of T.R.H. The Duchess of Cambridge and the Countess of Wessex on the 19th of February 2018. Clive RundIe in collaboration with Lesotho based textile design duo Phatheho Ranooe And Maletto Monyau (House of Thethana) are expected to showcase their designs.


Drawing inspiration from Lesotho’s rich horsemanship culture, crafter Monyau worked under Rundle’s direction to develop a print suited to a high fashion garment and for printing on luxurious fabrics such as silk and organza.
Other participates are Karen Walker (New Zealand) and Bibi Russell (Bangladesh).
