African fabrics epitomize the diverse riches that are found in the continent. We have featured representations of some of the fabrics found across the different selected countries of Africa. The creativity and graphical distinction of these fabrics makes them desirable to not only Africans but even abroad. We have seen big international brands donning African fabric inspired outfits on big stages. These fabrics are an emblem of cultural heritage across Africa and have found expression in different designs as designers work to make them come alive. The various fabrics can be used in chic classy outfits worn to weddings or upmarket events and equally seen in casual simplistic merchandise. There has been an immense growth in the demand of these fabrics especially within the African continent as more and more Africans are growing to identify with their origins. Modernization brought with it a lot of identity stripping which went on for a long time. In the last couple of years we have seen the African fashion industry awakening to the beauty that Africa is nesting on.
