Funeka Vogue is the brainchild of Ghana based Swazi Fashion Designer, Zethu Barbara Mamba. The Accra, Ghana based modern contemporary brand which aims at merging the west African and southern Africa cultures by using hundred percent cotton wax prints mainly from Ghana ,with a combination of distinct embroidery and beading which is inspired by tribal patterns and colours. Pressure and demand from her clients forced her to add a little bit of diversity by introducing other fabrics like chiffon and other eurocentric based fabrics, making her designs simple,easy to wear ,comfortable, flirty and timeless. People’s different personalities and culture have a major influence on Funeka Vogue designs and colour .
