Bantu Magazine is looking for committed writers, with writing skills and passion to regularly submit fresh, interesting material to Bantu Magazine. By “regularly” we mean at least once in two weeks. Bantu Magazine offers writers the opportunity to see their work professionally edited and published on our online magazine. Please note that we do not offer compensation for submissions.
Applicants: please submit a writing sample – an original article related to one of the topic areas listed below. Preferably submit something previously unpublished which Bantu Magazine can use in the near future, or you may submit something you’ve already written for your web site or blog (please include direct link).
Choose from any of these topic areas, bearing in mind that, if you’re accepted, you may also submit in the other category:
FASHION & BEAUTY
Do you know fashion? Think you can write about the latest Southern African streetwear, catwalk trends and style, lifestyle, fashion news, talent, hair and makeup? Or, do you prefer new Southern African designers or have your own original fashion ideas? Can you offer tips and tricks, do’s and don’ts? How about reviewing beauty products you totally love (or were disappointed in)? Most articles in this category will require photos and captions of which we can assist with photo shoots.
FASHION CRITIC
Want to be a fashion critic? Think you know what’s worth wearing, industry issues, fashion show insights, or modeling insider? Who’s hot and who’s not? Feature articles and reviews.
