Founders of the Formally RVK Fashion Week then Tshwane Fashion Festival are working with Global Ovations in Ghana (organizers of Africa Fashion Festival) to bring you RVK Africa Fashion Festival set to take place at the Umodzi Park Hotel, Chilembwe, Lilongwe, Malawi. The hotel will treat a group of international and local designers and models.
There will be 12 countries participating at this fashion festival. Zambian and Zimbabwean models are already in the country. The rest are expected to arrive before Friday. Apart from the social interaction, this will give a chance to our international counterparts to appreciate the beauty of Malawi which is good for our tourism industry.
Meanwhile, the organizers have released the program of the two day event.
According to the program, Wati, Nyalisa and Lilly Alfonso are among the local designers while Legal Designs (South Africa) and Bonono Merchants (Lesotho) are among the international designers that will showcase on the opening day.
The second day will see models on the runway parading in Ms Pearls Designs and Nzika wear (Malawi) and in Nicole’s (Botswana), Bongani Tambo (South Africa) and Sanah (Zimbabwe) designs among others.
South African based John Paulo, Lulu, Phyzix, Dali and Blaze have been billed to entertain fashionistas at the event.
