Mangishi Doll (MD) is a purely African online shop that supplies varied clothing garments predominantly made with the the enchanting African print fabrics. The brand was founded by designer Kapasa Musonda  Zambian born lady. Mangishi Doll was set in motion in 2012 but finally came to life in 2015. The appeal of this brand is deep seated as it is inspired by culture, heritage and art which accentuates the origins of Africanism.

The burst in bold print and color makes this endearing brand one never to be missed whenever you come across it. The designs from this acclaimed brand appeal to the fashion eye by the bold mix of the fabric patterns. In traditional fashion rules, contrasting prints were not expected to be mixed but the fashion forward community broke that protocol and have for the past couple of years been seen mixing bold contrasting prints in different colors. Mangsishi Doll identifies with this trends lot as a lot of their designs can be seen with mixed patterns.

When one’s path collides with MD, one can’t help falling in love for with this band you either love it or love it. Yep! it is that audacious. If you are a free spirited person that loves outfits that stand out then you should have a go at this daughter of Africa brand. We love the stupendous display of fashion authenticity and excellence in delivery as they have brilliantly aligned themselves with digitization which is a wise progressive decision.

The brand owner, Kapasa is a well cultivated designer scholastically as she was awarded a scholarship to study Fashion Design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in California USA. She moved back home in 2011 after she had completed her course.

African talent continues to inspire and give hope for a much better tomorrow for Africa. A dream driven and owned by Africans for Africans.
